The Hull Spiritualist Centre is run by a committee, democratically elected each year at the Annual General Meeting by the Church Members. Membership is open to anyone who has expressed an interest in Spiritualism.

The structure of the Committee is as follows:

There are also other roles on the Committee they are - booking secretary (who books the mediums), Healing Leader and deputies who run the healing service, "A" Class Rep (represents the Church at SNU District Council meetings and SNU Trust Rep.

The Committee is responsible for the running the church, from organising mediums, putting on workshops, paying the bills, the upkeep of the buildings, adherence to legislation, (e.g. Portable Appliance Testing, Insurance, Health & Safety etc), administration, printing leaflets, preparing refreshments, cleaning the church and so on - there is a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes by the dedicated team of volunteers.
